Jefferson Baptist Church at 179 Pine St. in Jefferson is offering a monthly support group meeting for friends and relatives of those who suffer from substance abuse of any kind. The next meeting will be held Tuesday, July 14, at 7 p.m. in the church basement. The meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at the same time. At this meeting, people can talk to others who are struggling with how to deal with their loves ones who are addicted to alcohol or drugs.
