These two men appear to be holding bags of tree seedlings and seem amused at the task they’re about to perform. Our problem is we don’t know who they are or exactly what they were doing, and we hope our readers can help us solve this puzzle.

We do know two things about this week’s Mystery Photo: It was taken by a reporter in the Observer-Reporter’s Chartiers Valley office in Canonsburg, and the year was 1968.
