While responding to a tip last week, Charleroi police found a smorgasbord of marijuana plants and growing kits at a North Charleroi apartment on Liberty Avenue.

Seth Glenn, 31, of 625 Liberty Ave., faces multiple drug and paraphernalia charges stemming from his arrest at noon Friday. He was arraigned by District Judge Larry Hopkins and taken to Washington County jail on $50,000 cash bond.

Police said they received several complaints Glenn was selling marijuana to juveniles. Glenn reportedly denied selling the marijuana, but he allegedly told police he had drugs inside his apartment and allowed officers to look inside.

Inside the kitchen, police found a bong and pipe covered in burned marijuana residue. The freezer contained a large bag of marijuana and three jars of liquid THC, the psychoactive component of cannabis.

At that point, Glenn was taken into custody. Police then obtained a search warrant and returned to the apartment, where they found three additional jars of marijuana, a scale, several glass pipes and plastic sandwich bags. Police also found needles, a spoon and an empty stamp bag inside a glasses case.

Police said they found an assortment of plant growing kits and products, as well as a propane torch, which is commonly used to cook marijuana down to obtain THC oil. Marijuana plants were hanging upside down to dry, but police did not indicate how many plants they found.

All items were seized and logged into evidence.
