ETNA (AP) – Authorities have identified a woman killed in a Western Pennsylvania house fire, while her sister who survived believes her sibling may have perished trying to rescue some pets.

Allegheny County authorities say the dead woman is 31-year-old Stephanie Krulia.

The county fire marshal was trying to figure out what started the blaze in the home she shared with her sister, 33-year-old Christy Claypoole. Claypoole jumped from a window onto a storage shed which helped break her fall, but Krulia couldn’t get out.

The fire was reported about 10 p.m. Saturday in Etna, a suburb just east of Pittsburgh.
