Night time traffic restrictions starting in Washington for paving work

Night time, single lane restrictions will take place in Washington, East Washington and South Strabane Township beginning tomorrow.
The restrictions will be from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Monday through Friday with a tentative completion date of Aug. 28. Work will begin on Route 18, South Main Street and Park Avenue, proceeding to Main Street and Chestnut Street, then to North Main Street and North Avenue. The order of roads is tentative.
Crews will be milling, doing base repairs and paving. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers during the operation.
