A night at the Jacktown Fair
Hundreds of people turned out Wednesday night for the 150th Jacktown Fair that featured a food-eating competition in which Ian Sweeney, 27, of Holbrook, right, devoured his challengers by eating eight hot dogs in about six minutes. He defeated Andrew Litton, 13, of Aleppo, left, and Vinny Wolfe, 22, of Jefferson, along with several other contestants, to win $50 and a Jacktown Fair hat.
