PITTSBURGH (AP) – The University of Pittsburgh is raising tuition for students at its main campus, but not those who attend four satellite campuses.
Pitt officials said the overall “blended” increase of 1.7 percent approved Friday is the lowest in 40 years.
Incoming, full-time freshmen who live in Pennsylvania will pay $17,292 annually to attend the main campus. That’s a 2.5 percent increase of $420. Tuition for out-of-state students at the main campus increased 2.9 percent.
Annual tuition will remain $12,452 at the school’s Johnstown, Greensburg and Bradford campuses. Students at Pitt-Titusville will again pay $10,754.
