Warrant served: Justin L. Shrader, 29, of 124 Charles St., Canton, is charged by state police with aggravated assault, harassment and simple assault for his alleged role in a June 11 assault on Gregory Rhodes Sr., 49, also of Canton, outside Shrader’s residence, court records show. Shrader is in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond set Tuesday by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Man charged: Daniel J. Reilly, 45, of 402 Brad Ave. in Canton, is charged by state police with simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief, court records show. He is accused of screaming at his mother, Sandra S. Riddle, of the same address, for four hours, breaking a door in her residence and threatening to smash her mobile home’s windows about 4 p.m. Tuesday. Reilly is free on $5,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Garage burgled: Police are investigating a burglary that occurred Tuesday at 8772 Nine Eighty Road, Canonsburg. Police said someone entered through the garage and took two flat-screen televisions valued at a total of $1,550 and a laptop valued at $700.

Cellphone stolen: Jamie Creeks of 307 Castle Road reported to police Tuesday someone stole her cellphone.

Drug arrest: Police were called Tuesday to 132 Belvue Ave. for a report of a possible drug overdose. Police said they found Dusty Lee Smith, 33, confused but conscious, and he told officers he injected heroin. Smith was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment. He was charged with drug possession after police said they found several stamp bags of heroin and drug paraphernalia. Police also called Children and Youth Services because they said an infant was found living in deplorable conditions.

Retail theft charge: Jerome Clifford McKee Jr., 56, of 1500 West Chestnut St., was arrested Friday for a retail theft from Sears at Washington Crown Center on July 9. Police charged McKee with a felony count of retail theft after he allegedly exchanged two pairs of jeans without a receipt and later returned to the store and stole the same two pairs of jeans.

Man jailed: Michael Breese, 21, of 650 Maple Ave., Washington, is charged with impersonating a public servant and disorderly conduct, court records show. Breese is accused of pretending to be a police officer to convince a guest at a Days Inn at 1370 W. Chestnut St. to open a motel room door so he could start a fight with the man about 9:30 p.m. Jan. 5, 2013. He is in Washington County jail on a probation violation and $5,000 bond set Wednesday by District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Distracted-driving crash: Police responded to a four-vehicle crash Monday on Route 19 that they say involved at least one driver using a cellphone behind the wheel. The crash, reported about 5:30 p.m., injured drivers Marlous L. Johnson, 31, of Canonsburg; Heidi Harbaugh, no age or address given; Valentino J. Dapra Jr., 67, of Canonsburg; and passenger Vera Ann Dapra, 68, of Canonsburg. They were transported to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment. The other driver was Tanner Lee Stegman, 29, of Fort Worth, Texas. Police provided no further details about the accident.

Criminal mischief: Someone entered a vacant house on Kuchinic Street in Venetia Tuesday, spray-painted the walls and damaged the first-floor toilet. A ladies 10-speed bicycle, valued at $100, was reported missing.

Hit-and-run charge: Brooke Lowery, no age given, of 241 Moore Road, Claysville, was charged with three counts of reckless driving in connection with a July 12 incident in which police say she hit two parked vehicles while reportedly fleeing a domestic dispute. Jesse Evans, no age given, of 700 Bassett Ave., Washington, called police to his residence to report Lowery had hit a parked car and a pickup truck as she fled. State police later arrested Lowery for driving under the influence.

Assault charge: Henry Cohen, 63, of 117 Maple Terrace, was arrested Tuesday on charges of simple assault and endangering the welfare of children after he allegedly threw a beer can and cut the eye of his girlfriend’s daughter. The child’s mother, Christina Grayson, flagged down officers and said Cohen was drunk and aggressive. He was placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

Theft: James Setto, 66, of Third Street, reported to police Tuesday that a package containing a flashlight and black light that was delivered to him by mail was stolen.
