A ‘super’ summer experiment
Amberly Courtwright, a member of Bowlby’s Teen Advisory Group, bottom right, conducts an experiment with a summer reading group studying “Super Cells” involving the use of iodine, cornstarch and potatoes, while the children, from counterclockwise, Emily Pace, Alyssa Lightner, Natalie Conner, Roxie Lightner, Isaac McCartney and Lillian Greenwood, watch intently.
Weekly programming for young children through adult-age patrons is running for several weeks until Aug. 14 at Bowlby Public Library in Waynesburg.
More information about the programs can be found at the library.
