Several charged in thefts in S. Strabane

South Strabane Township police charged several people this week with retail theft or theft stemming from recent incidents at retailers.
Nyesha Wilson, 25, of 365 N. Main St., Washington, was charged with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia after she allegedly stole items valued at $330 from Walmart, Trinity Point, on July 17. Jessica Trznadel, 29, of 104 Cedar Wood Drive, Carmichaels, and Cruz Tinsley, 28, of 603 Hunters Ridge, Brownsville, were each charged with theft by deception for allegedly returning some of the items Wilson allegedly stole in exchange for gift cards.
Timothy D. Sayre, 32, of Morgantown, W.Va., was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing items valued at $174 from Kohl’s, Strabane Square, on July 1.
Kristin Harps, 35, of 60 Carl Ave., Eighty Four, was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing a chain saw valued at $449 from Lowe’s, Strabane Square, on July 13.
Joseph W. Zalin, 35, of Pittsburgh, was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing Fit Bits arm bands valued at $449 from Kohl’s on July 16.
