Kwik Fill robbed a second time

A gasoline station on East Maiden Street in Washington was robbed Sunday night, making it the second time in less than two weeks that the business was targeted.
City police said the clerk inside the store was running the vacuum cleaner about 9:15 p.m. when a white woman wearing a black, hooded shirt with blue trim, white bandanna and sunglasses walked into the store. She told the clerk “give me your money,” telling her several times to hurry up and advising the clerk that she was “not kidding.”
The clerk removed money from the register and placed it on the counter. The robber grabbed the money from the counter, ran across East Maiden and went south on Rosewood. A witness told police he saw the suspect running between two houses in the 700 block of East Maiden, cross the street and enter the store. He also saw her running down Rosewood. A would-be customer pulled into the station’s lot as she ran from the store.
Police searched the area but were not able to find the robber. After reviewing surveillance video, police determined she had long, dark hair, was about 25 to 30 years old and about 5 feet, 5 inches tall.
No weapon was seen, but the clerk told police the robber held her hands inside her shirt as if she might be holding a weapon. The clerk also could see a blue light coming from under the shirt.
The station was robbed on the afternoon of July 15 by a white man who had his face covered by the hood of his oversized jacket. He also fled from the store in the direction of Rosewood Avenue.
