Drug arrest: Patrick A. Summers, 31, of 217 E. Maiden St., Washington, was arrested Friday by California police on three counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin after he allegedly was seen making hand-to-hand transactions on Wood Street. When he was taken into custody, police said he was in possession of 24 stamp bags of suspected heroin. He was arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

Furnishing liquor charge: Edward Rappe, 22, of 512 Chartiers Ave., Canonsburg, was charged Friday by Canonsburg police with furnishing alcohol to minors for allegedly providing three bottles of vodka to two boys, ages 13 and 17, at a home on Giffin Avenue on June 25. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Charged in crash: Mark Wylie, 49, of 276 Sumner Ave., Washington, was charged Friday by Canonsburg police with leaving the scene of an accident after he allegedly crashed into a parked car in the lot of Jimmy G’s, 341 S. Central Ave., on July 3. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

False reports charge: Stanley McCloskey, 55, of 59 Marra Ave., Canton, was charged Friday by state police with reporting false alarms for allegedly calling his ex-wife on May 8 and telling her he had fallen down the attic steps and was unable to get up. She called 911, and state police responded along with Ambulance and Chair Service, only to find him sitting on the porch. He allegedly told police he was joking and made the whole thing up. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Assault charge: Tracy Lynn Jenkins, 34, of 10 Mark Ave., Canton, was charged Friday by state police with simple assault and harassment for allegedly grabbing Brittany Marie Jenkins by the neck and hitting her during a confrontation at Brittany Jenkins’ home at 33 Mark on July 13. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Receiving charge: Joseph W. McMillan, 28, of 524 Buena Vista St., Canton, was charged with receiving stolen property for allegedly having a pair of hoop earrings reportedly stolen from a neighbor’s home on Jan. 25. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Endangering, assault charges: Kimberly Snyder, 21, of 227 ½ McKean Ave., Charleroi, was arrested Sunday by Charleroi Regional police on charges of endangering the welfare of children, simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. Police were called for a report of 2-month-old baby being taken by her father and not placed in a child safety seat. Police contacted the child’s mother, and they said they determined she had cocaine and marijuana in her system. Police said she also admitted to hitting the child’s father. She was arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis and released on $2,500 unsecured bond.

Drug arrest: Alexandria Reed Allen, 27, of 501 Allen Ave., Donora, was arrested Sunday by Donora police on charges of possession of heroin and paraphernalia after police said they found suspected heroin at her home. Allen, who was wanted on a warrant for failure to appear, was arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis, who set bond at $2,500.

Theft charges: Kyle Duff, 27, no address given, has been charged by summons with theft and receiving stolen property after he allegedly stole a cellphone June 5 from a home in the 100 block of Hamilton Street. Police said Duff admitted to stealing the Galaxy S5 to support a heroin habit. They say he tried to sell it at a cellphone kiosk in Washington Crown Center.

Retail theft: Police are investigating a theft Saturday at Kmart on Washington Road. Police said a man came into the store with a small child, went to the men’s clothing department and put several items in his shopping cart. He then went to the toy department, where he concealed the clothing in a plastic shopping bag before going to the customer service counter. There, he returned the items and received a Kmart gift card before leaving the store.

Theft from vehicle: A drill and drill bits were reported stolen Friday from a a vehicle belonging to Dana Scharf, 43, of Houston, when the vehicle was parked on Ashwood Drive in Venetia. The drill was later discovered at the Route 51 Quick Cash pawn shop in Pittsburgh, but the drill bits already had been sold. The value of the drill is $200, while the value of the drill bits is $50.

Heroin found: Pamala Ann Hasson, 39, of 123 W. Walnut St., Washington, was arraigned Friday on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession of paraphernalia after she allegedly told state police she had the drug hidden on her body while she was being transported to the barracks July 14 on an outstanding warrant. Police said she had 273 stamp bags of suspected heroin. Hasson was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller, who set bond at $25,000.

Wallets stolen: Kevin Johnson of Amity told South Strabane police Saturday that his wallet and one belonging to Brenda Horne, also of Amity, were stolen from their pickup truck while it was parked at Nichol Funeral Home, East Maiden Street.

Burglary reported: Gerard Isceglia of Hidden Valley Drive, Union, told Southwest Regional police Sunday an attempt was made to pry open a safe in the bedroom of his home during a burglary. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-929-8484.

Door found open: Ricky A. Cushy of Route 837, Union, told Southwest Regional police Sunday he came home to find his front door open. Nothing inside the house appeared to be disturbed. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-929-8484.

Drug charges: Breanne Hadrych, 32, of Mobile Road, South Franklin Township faces two counts of drug possession after police responded Sunday to a call of drug use at the GetGo gas station on Wylie Avenue. Police said they found Hadrych intoxicated and discovered nearly 50 stamp bags of heroin and paraphernalia in her purse when she retrieved her identification.

Vandalism charge: Angelina Attkinson, 47, no address given, was charged with institutional vandalism Monday after Washington County jail officials reported she damaged a TV and thermostat with a basket while incarcerated Sunday.

Harassment charge: Tasha Chambers, 29, of 123 W. Walnut St., Washington, was charged with harassment for allegedly grabbing and pushing Amber Elcyzy of Prosperity during a confrontation Friday at Chambers’ home.

Bicycle stolen: Angela Watson of Washington told Washington police Friday her son’s black and blue BMX bicycle with blue pegs and rims was stolen from outside Citizens Library, 55 S. College St.

Warrant arrest: James Price, 28, of 382 Sprowls Ave., Houston, was taken into custody Friday by Washington police on a warrant after he was found at a residence in the 800 block of Ewing Street. Police said he is facing additional charges because they found him in possession of suspected cocaine.

Theft alleged: Amanda McGary, 28, and Troy Ethridge, 28, both of Washington, are accused of stealing items from the home of Kyle Campbell, 356 Jefferson Ave., Washington police said. The two were later found in a room at Motel 6 in South Strabane Township. McGary was placed in Washington County jail on a probation warrant. Police said Ethridge was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment of a possible heroin overdose. Charges against the pair are pending.

Windshield broken: Alyssa Chandler of 122 Ridge Ave. told Washington police Sunday the windshield of her vehicle was broken while the car was parked near her home.

Door damaged: Melvin Ringer of 193 Jollick Manor told Washington police Sunday the front screen door at his home was damaged. Charges are pending against the alleged culprit.
