Motorcycle damaged: Henry Salaman of Washington told Canonsburg police Monday that his motorcycle was damaged when it was deliberately knocked over by a man while it was in the parking lot of Polish National Union, 510 Franklin Ave.
Driver injured: Janet Ford of Walnut Street, Houston, was injured when her vehicle crashed into a porch of a home at the intersection of Pike and Third streets on Sunday, Chartiers police said. She was taken to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment.
Theft, receiving charges: Kyle M. Duff, 28, of 108 Fulton St., North Franklin, was charged Tuesday by North Franklin with theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing a cellphone owned by Jackie McFall on June 5 from 114 Hamilton St. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
Drunkenness charge: David Lee Stiltenpole, 50, of 151 Baltimore Ave., North Franklin, was charged with public drunkenness after he was found last week staggering in the northbound lane of Franklin Farms Road near West Palm Street, North Franklin police said. The officer had to grab his arm to keep him from falling.
Driver faces charges: Justin Buckels, 27, of 74 Enterprise Road, Washington, was taken to Washington Hospital, where blood was drawn to determine if he was under the influence of alcohol or drugs when his vehicle crossed the center line and crashed into an oncoming vehicle driven by Ira Redd, 41, of Indiana, on West Maiden Street in front of Washington City Hall about 3:15 p.m. Saturday. Redd was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment, along with a 10-month-old girl in the vehicle. Witnesses told police Buckels appeared to have fallen asleep. Police said they found two stamp bags of suspected heroin stuck in the seal of the driver’s door window and another on the floor.
Overdose reported: Jacob Anderson, 30, of 60-A Circle Drive, Eighty Four, faces a charge of possession of cocaine after he was found with the suspected drug after reportedly overdosing Monday at 448 N. Main St. He was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment.
Driver faces charges: Justin Stiles, 28, of 57 Leet St., Washington, faces charges including driving under the influence stemming from a crash about 8:30 a.m. Monday on Locust Avenue at Leonard Avenue, Washington police said. He tried driving around a construction vehicle and struck another moving vehicle and a parked vehicle. Police said he smelled of alcohol. Police also found suspected drug paraphernalia in his vehicle. He was taken to Washington Hospital where blood was drawn.
