Woman hurt in high-speed chase, crash at federal building

PITTSBURGH (AP) – A woman is hospitalized after a high-speed chase that ended in a crash outside a Pittsburgh federal building.

Port Authority police were writing the woman a citation for driving erratically around 8:20 p.m. Wednesday when they say she took off.

The chase ended when the woman crashed into a security booth at the William S. Moorhead Federal Building.

The Port Authority says the woman wasn’t seriously hurt. They say she may have had a mental health condition.
