Armed theft: Shawn Coachman reported to police he saw four teens – three girls and one boy – break into his vehicle while it was parked at 300 Greenside Ave. at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. He said he yelled and started to chase them, and a boy wearing a red tank top pointed a firearm at him. Police were unable to locate the suspects.

Yard damaged: Jacob Lawrence told police his yard and landscaping in the 500 block of Gladden Road were damaged by a vehicle Thursday afternoon. He did not see the incident.

Liquor law violation alleged: Armando’s Pizza, 538 Fallowfield Ave., was issued a citation Wednesday by the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for allegedly failing to keep records on the licensed premises.

Suspicious man: A woman reported to police that a white man in his 50s pulled up to her home on Allison Avenue in a maroon pickup truck at 6:30 p.m. Thursday and stared at her. She said the same man stopped in front of her house last week, asked if she lived alone, then asked her out on a date.

Liquor law citation filed: Rembrandt’s Roadhouse, 125 South Main St., was issued a citation Wednesday by the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for allegedly allowing smoking in a public place where smoking is prohibited.

Liquor law violation alleged: Pike Inn, 144 West Pike St., was issued a citation Wednesday by the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for allegedly failing to notify the board within 15 days about a change of manager.

Road-rage incident: James Lawson of Moundsville, W.Va., reported to state police that he was the victim of a road-rage incident at 5:15 p.m. Thursday on Route 40 west near Club 40. He said a person driving an older white Dodge van cut him off and struck his left front bumper, then drove toward Mounts Road.

Assault charge: Sherre Lynn Malli, 29, of 211 Dividing Ridge Road, Prosperity, was charged by state police with simple assault and harassment for allegedly striking David Keener Jr. with a drinking glass outside his residence on McKee Road, Washington, at 5 a.m. Thursday. Police said he had a laceration on his thumb and a bruise on his eye. Malli was arraigned by District Judge Robert Redlinger and taken to Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Burglary: Angela Watters reported to police that her home on East Prospect Avenue was entered Thursday. She awoke to find a back door open, and the ground-floor window screen had been removed. No items appeared to be missing.

Attempted robbery: Rob Jones reported to city police he was approached by four teenage boys wearing bandanas at Broad Street and Baird Avenue about 10:20 p.m. Thursday. Jones said they told him to drop what he had. Jones said he told them he had nothing to give them, and they fled.
