WAYNESBURG – A Uniontown man who pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance was sentenced last week by visiting Senior Judge Gerald R. Solomon to 72 hours to 6 months in jail.

Eric W. Frey, 29, of 107 Rosedale Ave. was arrested following a traffic stop March 5, 2014 by Cumberland Township police. A blood test indicated he was under the influence of alcohol, marijuana, cocaine and Clonazepam. His blood-alcohol content was 0.149 percent.

Frey was given credit for the time served in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program and was determined to be eligible for immediate parole. He was fined $1,000 and will have his driver’s license suspended for 12 months.

Frey pleaded guilty to DUI and three summary traffic violations March 18. He was sentenced by Solomon May 29.
