Ringgold High School graduated 251 seniors at its commencement ceremony at 7 p.m. Friday at Joe Montana Stadium.

Co-valedictorians Angelica Amatangelo and Reyna Jones, who had the highest weighted quality points, spoke on behalf of all 13 co-valedictorians.

Amatangelo is a daughter of Joyce Amatangelo. She will attend the University of Pittsburgh to pursue a degree in bioengineering.

Jones is a daughter of Joseph and Deborah Jones and will attend the University of Pittsburgh to major in psychology.

The following students graduated as co-valedictorians and achieved a grade point average of 4.0:

Lucas Baldesberger, a son of Rick and Kerrie Baldesberger, will attend the University of Akron to study corrosive engineering.

Jacob Gerard, a son of Jason and Tracy Gerard, will attend the U.S. Naval Academy to pursue a degree in engineering.

Emily Grandinette, a daughter of Matthew and Tracy Grandinette, will attend Penn State University to major in microbiology.

Katharine Hubert, a daughter of William and Kathy Hubert, will attend Allegheny College to study biology and music composition.

Christina McMahon, a daughter of Randy and Sandra McMahon, will attend Penn State University to major in security risk analysis.

Kirsten McMichael, a daughter of Ronald and Jennifer McMichael will attend Washington and Lee University to study physics.

Alaina Nickolls, a daughter of Mark and Tammy Nickolls, will attend Kent State University to become a nurse anesthetist.

Emma Ott, a daughter of Michael and Maureen Ott, will attend Elon University to purse a degree in statistics with a concentration in actuarial science.

Angela Pruitt, a daughter of Michael and Joyce Pruitt, will attend Indiana University of Pennsylvania to major in natural science.

Marlena Schmidt, a daughter of Carl and Tara Schmidt, will attend West Virginia University and is currently undecided on a major.

Mikayala Sciulli, a daughter of Lauretta Mihalik, will attend Robert Morris University to pursue a degree in software engineering.

Also speaking at commencement were senior class president Emma Lucas and Jacob Gerard and Emma Ott, representing the senior class.
