The following people appeared recently for sentencing in Washington County Court:

Appearing before Judge Gary Gilman were:

Kenneth A. Joyce, 47, of Lawrence; driving under the influence-first offense and no rear lighting; charged Dec. 3; sentence – 72 hours to 6 months in the county jail, $1,035 fine and 12-month driver’s license suspension.

Jon A. Knowles, 40, of Marquette Heights, Ill.; DUI-second offense; charged Sept. 9, 2013; sentence – 23 months of Intermediate Punishment program with the first 6 months on electronic home monitoring, $1,500 fine and an 18-month driver’s license suspension.

Ann L. Veglia-Eisler, 45, of Midland; DUI-second offense; charged July 6; sentence – 6 months of Intermediate Punishment program with the first 60 days on electronic home monitoring, a $750 fine and a 12-month driver’s license suspension.

Kenneth D. Keenan II, 37, of 17 Keystone Place, Houston; DUI-third offense and driving while with a blood-alcohol content of 0.02 percent or higher while license suspended; charged July 12; sentence-5 years of Intermediate Punishment with first 90 days in county jail, a $3,500 fine and 3 ½-year driver’s license suspension.
