A 7-year-old Charleroi girl was flown to Children’s Hospital Saturday afternoon following a go-kart accident in Speers Park.

She had injuries to her left arm that were not life-threatening, according to a borough police officer whose department responded to the call.

The officer said the girl and a boy, also 7 from Charleroi, were in the go-kart when it tipped in the park on Charles Street around 3 p.m.

She was transported by medical helicopter from the scene.
