Arson: A 2008 Ford Escape was set ablaze on Field and Stream Road about 11 p.m. Friday, according to state police. They identified the owner as Marlene Sekelik, 100 Cole Farm Lane, Waynesburg. Police ask anyone with information to call 724-223-5200.

Theft: Marsha Lynn Kovach, 40, told state police in Belle Vernon someone stole prescribed medication from her Middle Street apartment about 11:15 a.m. Thursday.
