A homeless man accused of robbing a woman outside Sam’s Club at Trinity Point in South Strabane Township last month was ordered to stand trial Tuesday.

Daniel Wayne Earlywine, 32, was ordered held for court by District Judge Jay Weller on charges of robbery, conspiracy, simple assault, access device fraud and theft. A charge of reckless endangerment was dismissed.

He is accused of robbing the woman on May 1 as she was placing her purchases in her vehicle. Ashley Renee Riggle, 30, of Canton Township, is accused of driving him to Trinity Point. She was ordered held for court last month on the same charges and is waiting formal arraignment on July 28.

Earlywine, who remains in Washington County Jail on $50,000 bond, will be formally arraigned Aug. 20.
