Liquor violation alleged: McMonagle’s & Pizza Joe’s 6 Packs at 153 Union St. was cited by the state Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement on June 10 for allegedly selling alcohol to a 20-year-old.
Medication stolen: Linda Wachtler reported to Chartiers police that three non-narcotic medications went missing from her home on McWilliams Drive recently.
Retail theft: South Strabane police were called to Polo Ralph Lauren at Tanger Outlets about 3 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a man and woman who stole children’s clothes valued at $375. The suspects could not be located.
Store shortchanged: A Subway manager reported to South Strabane police that a man deceived a restaurant clerk into giving him an extra $40 in change.
Suspicious driver: A woman called police to report that a white man in his early 20s had been driving a white Ford truck around the lot of Thomas Campbell Apartments for long periods of time, several days in a row. The driver was gone when police arrived.
Theft charge: Samuel McKinley Wheeler, 55, of 235 W. Chestnut St., was charged by city police with theft for allegedly stealing $30 and 10 Vicodin pills from Joyce Cole’s residence in Washington last September. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
Vandalism: Bobbie Spangler reported to city police someone threw a retaining wall block through her vehicle’s windshield while it was parked in the 800 block of Ewing Street between 8 and 9 a.m. Tuesday.
