PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Police say at least nine people were hit by birdshot from a shotgun at a west Philadelphia cookout, but all are listed in stable condition. Two men are being sought.

Witnesses told police that the suspects fired down the block in the Belmont neighborhood with a shotgun at least once shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday. Police said the pair then drove down the street in a sedan, firing several more shots, possibly with a handgun.

Police said the victims included a 1-year-old girl and two boys aged 11 and 12, as well as four men and two women. A police spokeswoman said all were taken to local hospitals and listed in stable condition.

One suspect is described as in his 20s with a neck beard and tattoos on one arm.
