Inmate charged with assault: Anthony D. Montgomery, 22, an inmate at SCI-Greene, was charged with assault by a prisoner and aggravated harassment after state police said he threw a cup filled with his urine at a jail guard and nurse during daily medication rounds April 8. State police filed charges against Montgomery, Thursday.

Two charged: Joseph Lilley III, 21, of Waynesburg and Michael Lasko, 42, of Prosperity were both charged with harassment after allegedly becoming involved in a fight at 7:20 a.m. Friday at 123 A Fairview Ave., state police said. Lilley also was charged with criminal mischief for allegedly breaking the window on Lasko’s truck.

Harassment: Sandra Whitlatch was cited for harassment following an incident at 8:22 a.m. Friday at 1137 W. Roy Furman Highway, state police said. The nature of the incident was not disclosed. Lisa Baker of Washington was listed on the report as the victim.

Simple assault charge: Lisa Ann Martin, 31, of 77 C St., Clarksville, was charged with simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness after state police said she grabbed her mother and tried to throw her down porch steps at an A Street home in Morgan Township. Police said Martin also slapped a man in the face during the confrontation shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday. District Judge Glenn Bates arraigned Martin and set her bail at $5,000 cash bond.

Man charged: Michael B. Vulcano, 24, of 113 Deerlick Station Road was charged by Southwest Regional police with endangering the welfare of children and possession of drug paraphernalia after syringes and items containing suspected drug residue were found in his home Thursday. Police said the items were easily accessible to the two young children in his supervision.

Crash: One person was injured in a single-vehicle crash at 10:37 a.m. Saturday on Interstate 79. State police said a vehicle driven by Joe Yeboah, 62, of Columbus, Ohio, ran off the road, struck an embankment and rolled onto its roof. Yeboah suffered moderate injuries and was treated at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.

One injured: Jason A. Rutan, 36, of Waynesburg was injured at 7 a.m. on June 16 when his pickup truck ran off Wilman Hill Road, struck a fence and a tree and rolled over, state police said. Rutan was taken to Ruby Memorial Hospital. His condition was not known.

Woman punched: Dennis R. Hayes Sr., 44, of 905 Sherman Ave., Waynesburg was charged with simple assault, disorderly conduct, harassment and public drunkenness after borough police said he punched a woman in the face about 2:30 a.m. Sunday during an argument in the 100 block of Elm Street. He was arraigned by District Judge Glenn Bates, who set his bond at $5,000.
