Woman falls at party, sues borough

A Franklin County resident filed suit in Washington County Court over injuries she received while attending a graduation party at the Allenport Fire Hall.
According to the complaint, Ella Eckert of Chambersburg went to the party on July 13, 2013, tripped on metal protruding from a threshold, and, in her fall, suffered a broken ankle and related injuries. Named as defendants in the case were Allenport Borough and Allenport fire hall, both of 1850 Main St., and the Stockdale Volunteer Fire Department, 316 Railroad St.
