GLASSPORT (AP) – Authorities are searching for the cause of a fire that damaged two homes a Western Pennsylvania.

The blaze broke out around 7 p.m. Thursday in Glassport. Fire Chief Wayne Lewis says crews encountered fire in the basement of a vacant home. The flames quickly spread through void spaces in the walls and reached the attic.

Lewis says a second home sustained moderate damage due to radiant heat.

No injuries were reported.
