Three plead guilty in Greene County Court

WAYNESBURG – Three criminal defendants pleaded guilty and were sentenced last week by visiting Senior Judge Hiram Carpenter III.
Jessica M. Brewer, 29, of 39 Route 88 Mobile Home Park, Carmichaels, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges of conspiracy and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance were withdrawn by prosecutors.
On July 5, Cumberland Township police and a confidential informant made arrangements to purchase an ounce of marijuana from a Carmichaels man. When police stopped the confidential informant’s car in which the man and Brewer were passengers, Brewer was in possession of the marijuana.
Brewer was sentenced to 6 months of probation, fined $200 and ordered to complete a drug and alcohol evaluation.
Isaac Christopher Stewart, 30, of Glen Easton, W.Va., pleaded guilty to harassment. A charge of simple assault was withdrawn.
On Jan. 28, 2013, Stewart became involved in an argument with his girlfriend and punched her in the forehead. He was fined $300.
Tyrone Jerrell Wilson, 32, of 137 Fourth St., Clarksville, pleaded guilty to resisting arrest. Wilson struggled with police when they arrested him Dec. 22, 2013, at a Carmichaels home on a warrant from Washington County probation.
Wilson was sentenced to time served to 18 months of probation and fined $250. According to jail online records, Wilson was in jail for a day.
