Pickup struck by brick: State police filed a juvenile petition against a 16-year-old Wind Ridge boy accused of throwing a brick through the windshield of a moving pickup truck along Green Valley Road in Aleppo Township April 23. Neither the driver of the truck, George Ealy of Wind Ridge, nor his passenger, Neil Young of Aleppo, was injured. Police did not identify the boy because he is a minor.

Tools stolen: A socket set was stolen from a car parked on Moffit Road in Dunkard Township June 22, state police said.

Two-vehicle crash: A driver suffered a minor injury Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash on Route 21 in Franklin Township near the Interstate 79 interchange. State police said Benjamin E. Smith Jr., 35, of Greenwood, N.Y., was following too closely behind the car driven by John Watkins, 57, of Marianna, when he crashed into the rear of Watkins’ car about 11:20 a.m. Watkins suffered minor injuries, but declined treatment by medics. Police cited Smith for driving too closely to the car in front of him.

Trailer stolen: A travel trailer was stolen Friday morning while it was outside a residence at 149 Homeville Road in Morgan Township, state police said.

Trespassing charge: State police said they charged Rebecca Longwell, 38, of Wind Ridge, with trespassing after she allegedly entered a Richhill Township residence along West Roy Furman Highway shortly before noon Saturday.

Burglary reported: State police are investigating a burglary at a Ned Ridge Road residence in Springhill Township that occurred between June 12 and 26. Police said several household goods were stolen and the property was damaged.

Lawnmower stolen: A lawn mower and several other items were stolen from a Windy Gap Road residence in Springhill Township between June 20 and 28, state police said.
