Seven men and one male juvenile were arrested and charged for their involvement in a fight early Sunday near California University of Pennsylvania’s campus.

California Borough police said they responded to a fight in progress at 525 Second St. about 2:30 a.m. Jeremy James Burton and Aaron David Williams, both 19 and of South Park, were taken to Washington County jail to await arraignment by District Judge Larry Hopkins.

Burton was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, disorderly conduct, underage drinking and public drunkenness. Williams was charged with resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, terroristic threats, underage drinking and public drunkenness.

Kenneth Anderson, 21, of Pittsburgh, and Devon C. Price, 23, of Pittsburgh, were charged with disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. Others who were involved in the fight and faced charges of disorderly conduct and underage drinking were Stefon Isbell, 19, of South Park, Devon P. Sartory, 18, of South Park, Jeremy J. Siedlecki, 18, of Finleyville, and a 17-year-old male from South Park.

California police could not be reached for further comment.
