Trinity makes personnel moves

Trinity Area School Board Thursday approved several personnel items, in addition to hiring Jonathan Miller as high school varsity football coach.
The board:
• Named Jack Minnick as the district’s Director of Human Resources and Accountability effective May 1 through June 30, 2019 at an annual salary of $108,448.
• Approved John Digon as high school Assistant Principal and Child Accounting Director, effective May 1. Digon will serve as the interim Director of Technology until July 1. The board also voted to pay Digon a one-time $5,000 stipend for additional responsibilities he took on as the interim athletic director during the 2014-15 school year.
In addition, the board approved a motion to advertise for the position of Director of Technology.
• Voluntarily moved Trinity Middle School assistant principal Saundra Deems to Trinity East Elementary School, where she will serve as principal, and voluntarily transferred Trinity High School assistant principal Patrick Baughman to Trinity Middle School, where he will serve the same role. Both begin May 1.
• Extended the contract of Aaron Scott, Director of Transportation and Facilities, from March 6 through June 30, 2019, at a salary of $70,000 per year.
• Hired Eric Lauver as the band director at a salary of $7,036.
