Candidates file nominating petitions for school director

WAYNESBURG – Only one school district in Greene County, Carmichaels Area, will have a race in the May 19 primary. Candidates who filed nominating petitions by Tuesday’s deadline are:
Five directors will be nominated for 4-year terms:
• Sheldon Reynolds
• Cheryl Severini Voytek
• Kenneth A. Ganocy
• Lewis G. May
• Melodie J. Berardi
• Ronald T. Ferek
• Thomas M. Ricco
All candidates cross-filed, except Reynolds, who filed only as a Democrat.
Perry, Wayne and Whiteley townships – Two directors will be nominated for four-year terms:
• Sharon Bennett, cross-filed
Franklin and Washington townships – Two directors will be nominated for four-year terms:
• No candidates
Waynesburg Borough – one director will be nominated for a four-year term
• No candidates
Jefferson-Morgan – Five directors will be nominated for four-year terms:
• Brittany Anderson Morrison
• Dan Wagner
• Donna L. Brown
• John W. Shaffer III
• Lisa Mattish
All candidates cross-filed.
Southeastern Greene – Five candidates will be nominated for four-year terms:
• Ginny Eberhart
• J.R. Antill
• Joe Spiker
All candidates cross-filed.
Aleppo, Freeport, Gilmore and Springhill townships – Two candidates will be nominated for four-year terms:
• No candidates
Center and Morris townships – One candidate will be nominated for a four-year term

Gray, Richhill and Jackson townships – Two candidates will be nominated for four-year terms:
• Clarence Cassiday Jr.
