Man hurt in city shooting
A man was wounded in a shooting near the McDonald’s restaurant on Jefferson Avenue Friday night, according to Washington police.
The shooting was reported at 6:31 p.m. by a resident in the 800 block of Ewing Street, where the victim was found outside a house.
Police said the man, whose name was not released, was transported by ambulance to UPMC-Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh, for treatment of a gunshot wound to his left shoulder.
He was uncooperative and provided no details regarding the shooting, police said.
According to 911, the shooter allegedly was driving a black, older-model four-door sedan.
