Firefighters this morning extinguished a blaze – twice – at a single-family residence in Cokeburg. There were no injuries.

A representative of the Cokeburg Fire Department said a call came in at 1:51 a.m. about a fire at 33 Franklin St. The blaze was put out, he said, but a few hours later, at 6:30 a.m., another caller reported the blaze rekindled. It was extinguished in late morning.

The extent of damage and cause were unknown. Cokeburg, Bentleyville, Ellsworth, Richeyville and California fire departments responded.
