A sacred chorus concert will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday at the Washington Street United Methodist Church, 152 S. Washington St., Waynesburg, featuring the Western Pennsylvania Conference United Methodist Minsters’ Chorus. The chorus is comprised of minsters and their spouses. It began more than 60 years ago as separate choruses for men and women that were combined in 2003. The chorus performs 8 concerts per year under the direction of Rev. Stephen Morse and Rev. Arnie McFarland. Admission is free with a free-will offering being accepted.

Jefferson United Methodist Church will hold a creamed chicken over biscuit dinner from 4 to 7 p.m, Friday at Jefferson Community Center. Menu also includes mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, coleslaw, desserts and beverage. Cost is $10 for adults; $5 for children 12 and under. Take-outs are available.

Community Sewing Circle of Time will meet Friday for an all-day meeting in the social room of Union Valley United Methodist Church. Donna Bennett will be the hostess and program leader. The word for roll call is “Grace.” A community Easter egg hunt will be held by the Rolling Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility at 11 a.m. March 28, on the lawn of the facility at 107 Curry Road, Franklin Township.
