Man overdoses in pharmacy parking lot

City police responded to Walgreens pharmacy on Jefferson Avenue after reports a man apparently overdosed in the parking lot shortly after 6:30 p.m. Monday.
Police said the man, whose name was not released, overdosed on heroin.
He was transported by ambulance to Washington Hospital for treatment.
No additional information was provided.
