Parkway West, Fort Pitt Tunnel work planned

The outbound Fort Pitt Tunnel on the Parkway West (Interstate 376) will close this weekend for ceiling removal work.

The tunnel will close at 10 p.m. Friday and remain closed until 6 a.m. Monday. A detour will be posted.

There also will be closures on the parkway tonight and Wednesday. The outbound side will be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. both nights, with single-lane closures on the inbound side. Crews will be painting lines and replacing barriers, as well as other work.
