Weapons violation alleged: Thomas Teagarden III, 24, of Washington, will be charged by California police with carrying a firearm without a license stemming from an incident early Saturday at Vulcan Village. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.
Wallet stolen: Bonnie Schirra of Linda Lane, Houston, told Canonsburg police Saturday her wallet was stolen while she was at Shop ‘n Save on West Pike Street.
Money stolen: A caregiver for Michael Evans of Valley Road told Canonsburg police Friday $400 was stolen from Evans’ backpack.
False application charge: Brent Warren Winning, 45, of Brownsville, will be charged by California police Monday with unsworn falsification for allegedly putting false information on an application to purchase a firearm at Pfrogner’s Firearms, 317 N. California Drive, Coal Center. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.
Paraphernalia charge: Derrek Wible, 24, of 3431 W. Malden Drive, Coal Center, will be charged by California police with possession of paraphernalia and disorderly conduct stemming from an incident at his home early Friday. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.
Charged in crash: Denise Robison, 42, of 603 Dividing Ridge Road, Waynesburg, was charged Monday by McDonald police with driving under the influence of alcohol, a stop sign violation and careless driving stemming from a March 8 crash at South McDonald and O’Hara streets. Police said her blood-alcohol content was almost double the 0.08 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of Senior District Judge Jay Dutton.
Two charged: Michael Patrick Boyle, 31, of 259 School Hill Drive, Hendersonville, and Tyler Thomas Jankowski, 19, of 133 Garden St., Canonsburg, were charged Friday by North Strabane police with simple assault and harassment stemming from an alleged March 8 altercation outside a home on Weavertown Road between the two men. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Three injured: Ashley Winkelvoss, 19, of Washington, and her two passengers, Lauren Simpson, 20, and Megan Simpson, 17, also of Washington, were injured when the vehicle in which they were riding was struck by a truck driven by Michael Roberts Jr., 29, of 936 McKean Ave., Charleroi, on Route 136 Saturday, South Strabane police said.
Wallet stolen: Cheryl Lawrence of Washington told South Strabane police Friday her wallet was stolen the previous day while she was at Penn Commercial on Oak Springs Road. Police said a credit card was used to make more than $385 in purchases at Giant Eagle in South Strabane and Walgreens in Washington.
Theft charge: John Donley, 24, of 510 Allison Ave., Washington, will be charged with theft after allegedly stealing a tree stand from a porch of a home in the 100 block of Hall Avenue Friday, Washington police said.
Jewelry stolen: Charlene DeBolt of 905 W. Chestnut St. told Washington police Friday that several pieces of jewelry were stolen from her home. She told police that she could see a man inside the house when she returned home and called them before entering.
Money stolen: Crystal Montano of Washington told Washington police Friday a man, whom she identified, stole $50 from her in the 500 block of Jefferson Avenue.
Two jailed: Larry Arbogast, 27, of Pittsburgh, and Kevin Partozoti, 27, of 133 W. Wylie Ave., Washington, were placed in Washington County jail on probation violations following an incident Saturday at Partozoti’s home.
Faces charges: Jona Swisher, 36, of 511 McClane Farm Road, Chartiers Township, faces a charge of DUI of drugs or alcohol after police said she struck a utility pole in the 400 block of North Main Street Sunday afternoon. She reportedly told police she was taking medication.
Assault charge: Rodney McClurg, 51, of 230 Shirls Ave., will be charged by Washington police with simple assault after he allegedly choked and shoved Hope Adams, 45, during an altercation at their home Sunday. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
