A crash at about 3:30 p.m. today backed up traffic on Interstate 70 west in South Strabane Township. According to Washington County 911, at least one medical helicopter was called to the scene near the south junction of Interstate 79. One westbound lane of the highway was closed, causing traffic backups, but the wreckage has now been cleared. State police were investigating.
