ROGERSVILLE – West Greene Lions Club named three outstanding students of the month.

Selected were seniors Cale V. Miller, Joey Strope and Tieler Gammage.

Miller, son of Allen and Michaela Miller, is a member of National Honor Society. He received the President’s Academic Achievement Award and academic letters for his freshman and sophomore years. He was captain of the football team for 2014-15 and a four-year letterman in football.

Miller plans to attend Waynesburg University for physical therapy.

Strope, son of Tracy and Chuck Strope, is a member of the student government association and Quarterbacks for Life. He was the videographer for the 2014-15 varsity basketball season and a four-year student of German.

Strope plans to pursue a career in physical therapy.

Gammage, daughter of Christopher and Carol Young, is a member of the art club, marching band, concert band, county band and Upward Bound. She is a high honor student.

Gammage plans to attend the Art Institute of Pittsburgh for animation.
