MT. LEBANON (AP) – Police say a flock of traffic-stopping turkeys triggered a crash that injured a motorcyclist in Western Pennsylvania.

They say the 19-year-old lost control and fell off the bike Monday in Mt. Lebanon after a car in front of him stopped suddenly to let a half-dozen wild turkeys cross a road.

Police say the man hit the back of the car but remained conscious. He was hospitalized with injuries to his legs and upper body.
