Teen charged: A 14-year-old Canonsburg boy will be charged by Canonsburg police with harassment for allegedly hitting a 10-year-old Canonsburg boy in the face during an incident Wednesday in the park area of Valley View Terrace.
Woman jailed: Amber N. Byrne-Caeti, 28, of West Newton, is charged by township police with aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct over accusations she spit on a security guard at Mon Valley Hospital about 2 a.m. March 11, according to court records. Byrne-Caeti, who police said has hepatitis C, is in Washington County jail on $50,000 bond set Wednesday by District Judge Mark Wilson.
Theft charge: Jeffrey J. Romano, 27, of 335 Cortez Drive, Canton, was charged Tuesday by state police with theft for allegedly stealing two hammer drills and a sander from his father, John J. Romano, also of 335 Cortez, Friday. He allegedly sold the items at a pawn shop for $160 and used the money to buy heroin, according to court records. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.
Drug charges: Tyrone D. Chandler Jr., 28, of 129 Church St., Washington, was charged Tuesday by state police with possession of crack and paraphernalia after he allegedly was found with the items during a March 9 traffic stop on Wilmington Avenue in Canton. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.
Wallet stolen: Jason Dever of 849 Henderson Ave., Canton, told state police his wallet containing $800 was stolen from his home. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-223-5200.
Drug arrest: David Ebron, 33, of 437 E. Chestnut St., Washington, was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Jay Weller on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver crack filed by the Washington County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force. He is accused of selling the crack to an informant last October in the 400 block of East Chestnut Street, East Washington. Weller set bond at $5,000. Ebron was placed in Washington County jail Tuesday by Washington police on a domestic relations bench warrant. City police said they also found him with suspected cocaine.
Man jailed: Robert E. Corrick, 44, of North Street in McDonald, is charged with criminal trespass and public drunkenness, accused of entering a residence on North Street about 4 p.m. Wednesday. He is in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.
DUI, other charges: Steven Powell, 28, of Washington, was charged Monday by Mt. Pleasant police with driving under the influence of alcohol and marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and traffic violations stemming from a Feb. 6 crash on Henderson Road. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of Senior District Judge Jay Dutton.
Warrant service: Maurice Scott, 36, of 500 W. Chestnut St., Washington, was arrested on a warrant Wednesday charging him with striking a woman in the head with a revolver while they were in a vehicle on Route 19 about 3:45 p.m. March 6, court records show. Township police charged him with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment. He was sent to Washington County jail on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.
Loitering charge: Sean D. McGrail, 47, of 375 Locust Ave., Washington, will be charged by South Strabane police with loitering and prowling at night after he allegedly tried to enter a home in the 300 block of Wilbert Avenue about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday. Police said he was highly intoxicated and wearing only boxer shorts. He reportedly told police he was trying to get into his house. Police said his clothing was found next to a van in the lot at Driscoll Park. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
Tires slashed: Tracy McElroy of 829 Summerlea Ave. told Washington police Wednesday two tires were slashed on her car. Police have a suspect.
iPod stolen: Charles Meyer of 84 W. Wheeling St., Washington, told Washington police Wednesday his iPod was stolen from Citizens Library. He told police he left it charging, and when he returned for it, the device was gone.
Mowers stolen: Chad Glendenning of 560 Fayette St. told Washington police two mowers were stolen from his shed.
Apartment entered: Ryan Walls of 617 N. Main St. told Washington police Wednesday an Xbox 360 and Dell laptop computer were stolen from his apartment.
Drug charges: Angela Lucci, 23, of 209 Como Ave., Canonsburg, was charged by city police with prohibited acts for allegedly being in possession of a needle containing heroin, two empty stamp bags and a spoon. Lucci and two males were inside a vehicle in the Shop ‘n Save parking lot at 11:30 a.m. Thursday. Police said Lucci did not obey police orders and dropped drug paraphernalia outside the car door. Lucci was arraigned by District Judge Robert Redlinger and taken to Washington County jail on a $5,000 percentage bond.
Forgery, theft charges: Christina Marie Morrison, 41, of Greensburg, was charged Tuesday by state police with forgery and theft. She is accused of signing the name of David Wright of West Finley on a check and cashing it for $480 inside a Greensburg store Jan. 7. Morrison is his former girlfriend, according to court documents. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.
Car accident: Ursula P. Teggart, 98, of Brownsville, was taken by ambulance to a local hospital shortly after 8 p.m. Tuesday after failing to negotiate a curve on Old National Pike Road near Conti Road and driving down a hillside. State police in Belle Vernon said the severity of her injuries was unknown. She was not charged.
