PITTSBURGH (AP) – Pittsburgh police say a man is in critical condition after being shot in the mouth.

Police say the 20-year-old was shot just after 8 p.m. Monday inside a home near Herron Hill Park in the city’s Upper Hill section.

A city public safety spokeswoman says the man ran from the home looking for help. He’s hospitalized at UPMC Presbyterian.

Police did not find a gun at the house. They say they’re working to determine the nature of the shooting.
