False statements: Thomas N. Jordan, 20, of Coolville, Ohio, was charged with unsworn falsification to authorities for allegedly failing to include information of a previous conviction on a firearms transaction form when attempting to buy two shotguns at Walmart Nov. 28. Records indicated Jordan was convicted of failing to stop after an accident, a felony, in Ohio in October, state police said.

Man charged: An inmate at SCI-Greene was charged Thursday with failure to register as a sexual offender. Bruce L. McCamant, 65, was scheduled to be released from prison Thursday and allegedly refused to register as a sexual offender as required by Megan’s Law. State police said McCamant was required to register because of past crimes of criminal attempt to commit rape and unlawful restraint.
