Avella man found guilty of indecent assault

A Washington County jury found an Avella man guilty of indecent assault Thursday following a four-day trial before Judge Valarie Costanzo.
Donald E. Hannen, 74, of 4604 Jefferson Ave., was found guilty of aggravated indecent assault, corruption of minors, indecent assault of a person younger than 13 years of age and indecent assault of a person younger than 16 years of age.
Hannen was accused of inappropriately touching two girls, a 12-year-old in 2008 and a 15-year-old in 2012, in his home.
Hannen, who is being held at Washington County jail, will be sentenced in August.
