CECIL – Members of Washington County SWAT were called to 31 Anderson Lane Sunday afternoon after police said the property renter found a man inside the home.

Cecil police Officer Cassie Campsey said police were called after the renter returned home from a walk and saw a man wearing a bandana inside the home. Campsey said the man also heard another voice and left the property before calling 911. Anderson Lane is off Morganza Road and the property is secluded.

Campsey said SWAT was requested.

Attempts were made to contact the suspects before SWAT entered the home.

Campsey said no one was located inside and nothing appeared missing. She said police left the scene shortly before 6 p.m.

Police from surrounding communities, including Peters Township and Canonsburg, assisted. Campsey said police have leads, but nothing substantial.
