Work begins today on a $1.46-million project to replace the bridge that takes Washington Pike over Coal Run in South Fayette Township.

Single-lane traffic will be maintained during the project, which is to be done in mid-November. Truck traffic entering Bursca Park will be rerouted, while trucks leaving the park will have to go left on Washington Pike.
