WAYNESBURG – A number of criminal defendants pleaded guilty Monday and Tuesday before Greene County President Judge Farley Toothman and were sentenced.They included:

Brandan Alan Hepner, 27, of 146 Main St., Graysville; offenses – driving under the influence of alcohol, disorderly conduct, harassment; two counts of simple assault were withdrawn; on June 29, Hepner argued with his girlfriend at the Graysville Fire Hall then drove up and down the road in front of the fire hall; later, at his residence, his girlfriend found him loading a rifle; he shoved her into a door knob three times; Hepner had a blood-alcohol content level of 0.193 percent; sentence – 27 days in jail followed by 5 years of county intermediate punishment with drug and alcohol therapy and the first 60 days on house arrest.

Michael Greenwood, 42, of 172 Tollgate Run Road, Waynesburg; offense – retail theft; on July 10, 2013, Greenwood stole a bottle of pop from Pecjak Sunoco in Waynesburg; sentence – two years of probation, $2.19 in restitution.

Joseph Andrew Brownlee, 26, of 64 Diaz Lane, Nemacolin; offenses – possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia; charges of delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy were withdrawn; on Nov. 14, a confidential informant working with Cumberland Township police purchased $35 worth of marijuana from a woman at Brownlee’s home; the confidential information said she handed the money to Brownlee; police received a warrant and searched the house, finding smoke devices, a jar of marijuana, several empty jars with marijuana residue and $164; sentence – one year of probation, $500 fine, 75 hours of community service and forfeiture of the $164.

Susan Marie Harden, 23, of 123 Parkview Knoll, Carmichaels; offense – DUI, controlled substance; on Feb. 27, 2013, Harden was stopped for a traffic violation and found to be under the influence of marijuana; sentence – 72 hours to 6 months in jail; $1,000 fine, 50 hours of community service.

Jeremy Michael Perry, 23, of 142 Larimer Ave., Bobtown; offense – possession of a controlled substance; on Aug. 5, 2013, Perry was found in possession of 12 stamp bags of heroin after an apparent drug overdose; sentence – 48 hours to 1 year in jail, 75 hours of community service; he was given credit for 48 hours served and deemed eligible for parole.

Nathan Zachery Rizor, 24, of 1326 Jefferson Road, Jefferson; offenses – two counts of DUI; arrested Feb.2, 2014, following a single-vehicle crash, Rizor had a BAC of 0.208 percent; arrested Nov. 22, he had a BAC of 0.199 percent; sentence – 5 years and 6 months in the county intermediate punishment program, including 30 days in jail and 63 days of house arrest with electronic monitoring; $1,500 in fines and 250 hours of community service.

Mark Brandon Bullock, 29, of 311 Second St., West Leisenring; offenses – DUI and a summary traffic violation; arrested Aug. 20, following a single-vehicle crash, Bullock had a BAC of 0.123 percent; sentence – 48 hours to 6 months in jail; $500 fine, 75 hours of community service.
