PLEASANTVILLE (AP) – FBI agents searched a wooded area in Berks County for the third time in just over a year as part of a cold case investigation into the 1979 disappearance of a 16-year-old.

Robert Keck was last seen by his mother leaving their Upper Saucon home nearly 36 years ago.

Carl Holzinger, who owns the wooded property near Pleasantville, tells The Morning Call investigators told him a woman claims Keck’s remains are on the 72-acre plot.

Holzinger says the woman told investigators she and another teenage girl were involved in Keck’s disappearance.

The FBI declined comment.
