Child endangering: Starrla R. Murphy, 44, of 90 Barnickel Street, Meadowlands, was charged with endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person after leaving her three children ages 14, 12 and 4 home alone on April 23 after learning that police had been called to her for a domestic situation, Chartiers police said. Murphy was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and committed to the Washington County jail Tuesday on $25,000 unsecured bond.

Home burglarized: Amur J. Ward of Barcelona Lane, Dunlevy, told state police Saturday an Xbox with games, a DVD recorder, Air Jordan tennis shoes and a small black safe were stolen in a burglary of his home.

One injured: Noel A. Askerneese, 22, of West Mifflin, was slightly injured when his vehicle struck a bridge on Bentleyville Road, Fallowfield, early Wednesday. He was taken to Monongahela Valley Hospital for treatment. He was cited for failure to drive at a safe speed.

Drug arrest: Sarina M. Gilblom, 43, of 630 Jefferson Ave., Washington, was arrested Monday by McDonald police on a warrant after she allegedly sold hydrocodone to an undercover borough officer and informant on two occasions last month and Monday on School Street. Gilblom is charged with four counts of possession and possession with intent to deliver narcotics and one count of possession of marijuana. She was arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

Laptop stolen: Joy Anders told state police Friday morning a laptop computer containing patient records was stolen from the front seat of her vehicle while it was parked at Dollar General in Roscoe. Police said the laptop belonged to her employer, UPMC.

Thefts reported: Two businesses at Tanger Outlet reported thefts to South Strabane police Monday. Police said a black man in his late 20s to early 30s with short, balding hair who was wearing a black T-shirt with a vertical American flag on it stole three pairs of tennis shoes valued at $279.97 from the Nike store. An employee of Ralph Lauren told police a black woman in her late 20s with her hair pulled up and wearing a sweatshirt stole items valued at $300.

Money stolen: Jessica Hupp of 10 Aspen Drive told South Strabane police her Harley-Davidson purse and $10 were stolen from her vehicle Monday. A neighbor found her purse, but $90 had been stolen from it.

Drug charges: Joshua Alan Cowden, 24, of 3766 Morganza Road, Bridgeville, was arrested Monday by the Washington County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force after investigators learned he allegedly had given heroin and paraphernalia to another person to hold for him while he was being interviewed by a detective. Cowden was arraigned before District Judge Joshua Kanalis on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession of paraphernalia. He was placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

Woman assaulted: Mary Valiquette, 30, of Washington, told Washington police a man punched her in the face and attempted to steal her purse as she walked in the 200 to 400 block of North Main Street early Tuesday. She refused treatment.

Gun stolen: Matthew Menhart of North Franklin Township told Washington police Monday a Winchester bolt-action gun was stolen from under a bed at his former home at 456 N. Main St. He discovered the theft while moving.

iPad stolen: Robert Grove of 154 N. College St. told Washington police Monday his iPad Mini was stolen from his residence.
