108 graduate from Bethlehem-Center
Bethlehem-Center High School awarded diplomas to 108 graduates at its commencement ceremonies at the high school stadium Friday.
Valedictorian Anna Bartman spoke on “The Choices We Make,” while salutatorian Cassandra Marchando spoke on “Living in the Present.”
Bartman is a daughter of John and Carla Bartman of Fredericktown. She plans to attend Waynesburg University to study pre-medicine.
Bartman was captain of the varsity basketball and volleyball teams and a member of the track team. She was selected to the Roundball Classic and received several other basketball awards.
She was senior class president and president of National Honor Society, Student Council, Leo Club and Science Club. She also participated in iClub, Youth Traffic Safety Council and Relay for Life.
Marchando is a daughter of John and Debra Marchando of Fredericktown. She plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh and major in biological sciences/pre-medicine.
She was the senior class treasurer and National Honor Society treasurer. She was a varsity cheerleader and also participated in Leo Club, Relay for Life, Youth Traffic Safety Council, Film Club and Spanish Club. She also was a Rotary student of the month.
